Today was the day when Lovely Wife and I were going to the local food pantry to help out. Well, one of us made it an one of us didn't...what can I say. LW really does more than her fair share though, so I can't dog her too much. Rare is the day when I'm not the one that's the punk, so I'd better not be too hard on her. The pantry is called Oasis and it's set up like a grocery. The clients are interviewed as to their needs and we take the forms and "go shopping" filling up the bags with the items they have selected. I always feel so good afterwards and I want to do something to reward myself. On this particular day it was a lovely sub sandwich with potatoe salad and cole slaw. And a giant, cold Clausen pickle. Nothing better.
