We're so proudWe are so very proud of The BoyHead. He has been playing tennis this summer and he was awarded the Sportsmanship Trophy. This was because of his all-around good natured attitued. He was helpful and kind. Even though his doubles partner skipped out on him he still had a good attitude and helped the other players and coaches. He's such a good kid. I'm very proud (did I already say that?)

The Boo has done it. She has made the move to Florida. What a great week it has been driving with her from Akron to Tampa and then helping her get set up a bit. I also got to see Flash and Sarge who are looking great. We had much fun.

Boo and Sue Boo and some really handsome guy

It was great to see Aunt Susie and Uncle Dennie before we left Ohio. The drive down was very scenic, especially WV, western VA, NC. I had never been to that part of the country before. Very nice--I approve. Just me, The Boo and four head of cat. Cat's were good though--they just slept as cats are wont to do. We stopped just past Columbia, SC (CAE) the first night. Found a Ruby Tuesday's. Ate a Ribeye. Finally, we arrived. Spring Hill, FL. Getting from Akron to Spring Hill was easy. Finding the Boo's house proved much more difficult. We did finally find it, though. I hadn't seen Flash and Sarge for several years, so it was good to see them again. Sarge made me some excellent vittles while I was there.

Look at me, I'm driving a Caddie. Almost makes you want to marry your cousin Found it

Sarge Flash Together Forever

Boo and I went to the pool and swam to the sounds of thunder. That made me nervous. We played a Skip Bo tournament and everyone was in for a dime. Sarge won fair and square--but I think she cheated. Well, I flew into CLE on Sunday, drove to Spring Hill with the Boo and flew out of TPA. All in all it was an excellent week and I had a very memorable time.

I think I caught a Baptist

Well, it's Father's Day. The most important day of the year. I had planned on going to Ohio to help the grandmother of my children move. The mother of my children (a.k.a. Lovely Wife) stated emphatically that, "it's Father's Day. I need you to be in a skit at church that day". The skit was a touching father/son fishing trip. I'm the son. So it was arranged. I would go to Ohio, but only after spending the morning with the family--and being in the skit. We did our Father's Day thing on Saturday night. I got lots of clothes (three pairs of shorts and five shirts), a couple of CD's, a book and some goodies for the road. I also got the dinner of my choice. Yeah, ribeyes. L.W. also made a wonderful cake with butterscotch icing--Grrreeeeaaattt!!!

We made the annual pilgrimage to Amon G. Carter Lake in Bowie, Texas again this year. You can see all the glorious details here.
